Summit Personal Marketing

Summit Personal.Marketing is a German consulting boutique founded in 2016 by Steffen Busch, offering executive search, personnel consulting, employer branding, and organisational development services. Previously operating under the brand Summit Sportmarketing, the company specialises in the sports, entertainment and media industries, drawing on over 25 years of practical experience within these sectors. The firm positions itself as peer-level consultants and mentors rather than external contractors, maintaining deep understanding of industry challenges, culture and decision-maker perspectives.

Busch, a qualified sports economist with European Master qualifications and certified systemic coaching credentials, has held leadership roles at major German sports and media organisations including the German Football League (DFL), EnBW sports sponsorship division and German Sports Television (DSF). His expertise encompasses strategic marketing, sports sponsorship, Olympic operations and product marketing for digital media platforms. Services include executive search and recruiting, job-sharing tandems (supporting flexible two-person roles), employer branding, organisational development and recruiting workshops, outplacement and career counselling, and systemic coaching.

Summit operates exclusively on retainer-basis single-mandate assignments with professional ethics emphasising discretion, appreciation and strengths-oriented approaches. The company maintains a database of approximately 9,000 validated candidate profiles, all personally screened without junior involvement or freelance intermediaries. A commitment to diversity and inclusion drives programming, including proactive job-sharing tandems matching and flexible work model promotion.
