Strom Engineering

Strom Engineering, which also calls itself Strom, is a US temporary staffing organisation focused on manufacturing and other industrial sectors. It offers temporary and project staffing, contingency planning and consulting, and strike staffing. It says it manages the recruitment, qualification, travel and daily transportation of employees for every project. The roles it fills include welders, machinists, maintenance technicians, forklift operators and drivers.

Donald Strom founded the company in 1961 to provide temporary engineering services in Minneapolis, Minnesota and the surrounding areas. It later widened its work to cover strikes and labour disputes, and by the 1990s it operated nationally under John Radick. In 2025 its Minnesota division, Strom Minnesota, folded back into the company. Jim Corrigan is president.

Strom is based in Hopkins, Minnesota, and serves clients across the United States. It reports over 60 years of labour staffing experience, more than 100 clients served each year and more than 2,000 positions filled annually.
