Strivre Professionals

Strivre Professionals is part of the established Strivre Group and runs an international network of independent recruiters who work on a freelance basis under the Strivre brand. The company calls those consultants SOHO Billers, and its pitch is that they keep entrepreneurial freedom while trading with the support, systems and credibility of a global recruitment group. Strivre says its model exists so that recruiters spend their time doing deals rather than admin, and it describes the arrangement as a partnership rather than a job. In an industry it calls traditionally flighty, it argues that this adds a level of tenure rarely seen among recruiters.

The partners behind the group have built recruitment businesses of up to 200 headcount, with service offerings spanning permanent, contract, temporary, outsourcing and managed service work, and Strivre Professionals aims its model at freelancing recruiters working in high growth niches. The wider Strivre Group holds business interests in technology, coaching, distribution, recruitment and co working, all organised around one theme, connecting people and getting the best out of them. Members work with a tight community of trusted clients and are given pre-qualified leads, market data and a research team for long and shortlisting.

Strivre was launched in the UK in the 1990s and is close to a quarter of a century of trading, and its partners have worked across the UK, mainland Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Australia and New Zealand. Recruiters join for the commercial terms: commission of up to 70 per cent of net billings, which the company calls double the industry standard, freedom over geography, function and industry, and a choice of legal entities from which clients can be engaged. The support stack covers invoicing, finance and accounting, marketing, back office, operations and admin, IT and HR, a choice of three implemented CRM systems starting with the enterprise version of HubSpot, cloud based phone systems with numbers in the location of the recruiter's choice, and experienced recruitment managing directors on hand to coach and mentor.
