Solid Rock Search

Solid Rock Search is an executive search firm based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, that specialises in construction. It describes itself as a small business of construction recruiters and says it has 40 years of experience in the industry.

The company was established in 2008 by a recruiter who says they have worked in the industry since the 1960s, previously for a larger company. It says it has matched applicants with companies nationwide.

It usually fills positions such as project managers and directors for construction companies, across project types including commercial, health care, higher education, aviation, oil and gas, retail, civil and heavy highway work. It also works with job seekers, with consultants talking to candidates to learn what kind of employer they want, and it says it checks that candidates suit the role before sending them to clients.
