SmartHire

SmartHire is a recruiting and talent acquisition consulting firm headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, with recruiters working throughout the US. It was started in 2009 by Natalie Ozgunay, who is its president.

The firm offers retained and contingency based direct-hire recruiting, recruitment process outsourcing and on-demand hourly recruiting. It recruits in information technology, legal, finance and accounting, human resources, healthcare, engineering, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, marketing, sales and communications. It also covers non-profit, construction and e-commerce roles, as well as executive and leadership search.

SmartHire says its professionals have recruiting experience at large, international staffing firms, and that it has placed people in executive and professional positions for clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to start-ups. It follows the sourcing and interviewing approach from the book Who: The A Method for Hiring. Retained and contingency direct-hire placements include a candidate replacement guarantee.
