SJC Partners

SJC Partners is a recruitment consultancy that specialises in the finance and legal sectors. It was founded in 2014 by Steve Crossley, who is Managing Director, and is based in Manchester.

Its markets are legal, industry finance, deal advisory and private equity, accountancy practice, forensic accounting, eDiscovery and financial crime, and newly qualified ACA roles. In legal, it places property, private client and family law specialists, from assistants and paralegals to solicitors and senior leaders, with law firms across the UK. In finance, it recruits transactional finance and part-qualified staff and Finance Directors and Chief Financial Officers, and places candidates into corporate finance boutiques, investment banks, venture capital firms, debt funds, private equity houses and accountancy firms.

One of its directors recruits across the UK, Europe and the US. Steve Crossley also runs a sister business, Market Mapping Ltd, which sources off-market deals for businesses seeking to grow through mergers and acquisitions.
