Shine People Solutions

Shine People Solutions is an Aboriginal-owned and operated recruitment and consultancy business based in Rocklea, Queensland, serving clients across Australia. Tegan and Greg Sax founded it in October 2009. It started out recruiting in the Employment Services and Not for Profit sectors, then specialised in placing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander professionals and white collar workers. It describes itself as a family business.

Its recruitment service covers all industries, with roles from emerging professionals to executive and board-level positions. It also runs the Talent Map, a workforce planning platform that it says lets users search more than 20,000 Indigenous professionals and benchmark against Census data. Consulting covers policy development, strategy design and career pathway planning for culturally safe workplaces, and training addresses culturally safe recruitment and retention.

The company reports more than 520 placements since 2009, over 200 partner organisations, including government agencies, corporates and not-for-profits, and a 96.9% retention rate. Greg Sax and Tegan Sax are its co-founders and directors.
