Serenità Agenzia per il Lavoro was founded in May 2015 on the initiative of a group of entrepreneurs, with the goal of creating an Agenzia per il Lavoro operating principally in the search, selection and provision (somministrazione) of care staff to client families. The company acts as the legal employer of the badanti (home carers) it places, handling payroll, holiday and sick leave cover and replacement staff for institutional care.

Serenità's core services are home care staffing: a live in badante convivente from 1,907 euros a month, a night time badante notturna from 1,999 euros a month, and an hourly badante ad ore from 12.37 euros an hour. Each placement begins with a free needs assessment by a Care Manager, who builds a personalised care plan (Piano di Assistenza Personalizzato), and the company works with partner FutureCare on assistive technology for elderly clients.
