Selectancy

Selectancy is a German Personalberatung specialising in IT and semiconductor recruitment and talent sourcing, run by its owner Angelika Tabak from Munich. Its line is Our Mission is Your Match, and it works as a headhunter on the reasoning that employees are the engine of a company's success, that the right specialists and managers keep a business competitive, and that those experts are fought over hard enough by competitors to make the vacancies difficult to fill.

The named areas are IT, Halbleiter, HR, talent acquisition and Produktion und Handel. Clients usually come to Selectancy either because a vacancy has to be filled quickly for the sake of the business or because it has already stood open a long time, and the company says its strength is in niche areas, where specialisation, network care, Direktansprache and individual search strategies let it reach people others cannot. A search profile is worked out with the client and the approach is set to match it. Candidates are advised competently, honestly and free of charge and are accompanied through the whole application process. Selectancy received the best possible rating of six stars in the Candidate Experience category at the Headhunter of the Year awards in 2016, where it placed thirteenth.

The company fills vacancies in the DACH region, covering Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and at clients' international sites, and works with national and international recruiters on larger assignments. A partner network covers relocation, integration, translation and interpreting, and personnel development, and there is a dedicated relocation service for candidates who have to move to Germany or to another city for a role. Angelika Tabak also works as an interim manager on talent acquisition and learning and development projects, supporting process management, team building, training and workshops for international and local companies, and speaks German and fluent English and Spanish with conversational Croatian, Bosnian and Serbian.
