Select People

Select People is a recruitment agency based in Brisbane that works only with landscaping, horticulture and trade businesses across Australia. It says it has been recruiting since 2003 and has specialised in landscaping, horticulture and trades since 2015. The founder is Kent Willis.

The agency places permanent staff, from apprentices, gardeners and trade-qualified landscapers to leading hands, supervisors, estimators, designers, project managers and administration and support staff. It recruits for residential and commercial landscaping and maintenance businesses of all sizes, and distinguishes between residential, commercial and civil work, and between construction and maintenance crews. It searches a database of around 50,000 industry candidates, and says every permanent placement comes with a replacement guarantee.

The agency reports close to 1,000 trades and landscaping placements since 2015. It actively recruits in Brisbane, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast, Sydney and Melbourne, and fills roles anywhere in Australia. Its service is free for job seekers.
