Search Consultants is an executive search and recruitment firm that describes its work as global research and recruitment. It serves clients in sales and marketing, accounting and finance, legal, healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, consumer products, sports, non-profit, cyber security and IT. It also works with individual candidates on career planning and introductions to employers.

The firm is led by Steve Braun, its President and Chief Executive Officer, who joined MRI as an executive recruiter in 1976 and started his own practice in 1979. Search Consultants is part of the MRI Global Network, which it describes as the world’s largest executive search network. It says it conducts global searches for several Fortune 500 companies and hundreds of midsize and small business clients. During a search engagement, candidates are represented exclusively to the client and are not presented to others. The firm has offices in Los Angeles, California, and Baltimore, Maryland.
