Sapphire Recruitment is an accounting and finance recruitment business based in Brisbane, Queensland. It was founded by two directors, Michael O'Connell and Richard Coomber, who both came from recruitment careers in the accountancy and finance market.

The firm recruits accountancy and finance professionals for commercial organisations, from ASX listed and multinational corporations to small and medium sized businesses. Roles range from Financial Accountants through to Chief Financial Officers, and include taxation, business analyst, systems accountant and business improvement specialists. O'Connell, a qualified chartered accountant who worked as a Financial Controller before moving into recruitment, also advises not for profit and education sector clients. He offers consultancy on recruitment strategies, organisation structures, retention and salary reviews.

Coomber spent 13 years with a global recruiter of accountancy and finance professionals in London, South East England, Sydney and Brisbane before founding the firm. For candidates, the firm provides guidance on career planning, job search strategy, salary reviews and negotiation, and also offers interview guidance and resume writing.
