As the founder of the Arnold Group and Safety People, it’s been an essential task for me to drive the frontier of effective specialist recruitment, globally, for over 20 years. A strong belief in the power of people and technology drives me. I genuinely believe that if you’re not evolving your understanding and use of technology in your business, then you’re missing opportunities and if you leave your people behind, you’re missing the glue that makes organisations successful. I’m also committed to the importance of Safety, Risk and Injury Management. I actively work to progress the conversation of Workplace Health & Safety culture across every continent. Internationally, it’s useful to have a depth of experience as a director and a background in risk. My roles have extended across commercial and community landscapes, from the board of NPAworldwide to local recruitment association councils and a global network of specialist recruitment businesses. My love of business continues to this day, and I doubt it will ever diminish. I relish the daily challenge of business in all its forms, with a passion for helping individuals and their organisations achieve business and career success. I still get a thrill when my team places a candidate in their dream job or when we help a company take steps to increase the maturity of their internal Safety culture. As a father of two and a leader in my industry, I welcome the task of developing emerging talent and mentoring capable people to achieve their best both personally and in their chosen careers.
