Rural Directions

Rural Directions is a New Zealand recruitment and HR business that also works as independent land and resource management advisors. It focuses on the primary sector supply chain and is based in Havelock North, Hawke's Bay. It says it has provided recruitment and HR services across the sector for 20 years, and that its team has over 80 years of collective expertise.

The company fills on-farm, agribusiness, sales, management, administration and executive roles throughout New Zealand. Recent placements include station managers, farm managers, operations managers and a management accountant. For employers it also provides outsourced HR arrangements and salary survey reports with regional and national comparisons.

For job seekers, it runs a job board and offers help with CVs and cover letters, interview coaching, career advice and mentoring, and computer-based skills assessments. It also runs a referral scheme, Nominate a Mate, which rewards people who put forward someone who is then placed in a role.
