Rising Fast Recruitment is a Melbourne-based firm that describes itself as a boutique executive search and recruitment business specialising in cybersecurity, risk and technology placements. It was founded in 2021, when Managing Director Edward Whitehead started the company. It says that focusing on one industry allowed it to become deeply embedded in the candidate pool.

The firm fills both permanent and contracting roles for ASX listed companies, entities under the critical infrastructure umbrella, MSSPs and local government. Its executive search work covers leadership appointments at C-Suite level, such as CEO, CIO, CISO, CTO and CRO. Recruitment work targets skillsets including SecOps, DevSecOps, CTI, IAM, GRC, IRAP, Cloud, Red Team, Pen Testing, OT/SCADA and AI.

Client work starts with an initial discovery meeting with HR and the relevant hiring manager. Candidates are offered resume optimisation and interview preparation.
