RFT Search Group

RFT Search Group is a retained executive search firm founded by Jason Verlinde and Linda Ferrante in February 2012. It places mid-level to senior leaders for business owners across Michigan, Indiana and Ohio, and also runs searches for family office principals, both for their portfolio companies and for the family office itself.

The firm is based in Livonia, Michigan, with a second office in Fishers, Indiana. It recruits for manufacturing, distribution and logistics, industrial and construction, insurance, and finance and accounting, and for law and CPA firms. Roles include plant managers, operations directors, CFOs, controllers and senior insurance producers.

Work is done on a retained basis, with pricing agreed upfront. Its Client Loyalty Pricing Program offers free or heavily discounted replacement searches for up to five years after a placement. Linda Ferrante has been recruiting since 1998, and Jason Verlinde has been a business owner since 2004. The firm reports that over 90 percent of its clients use it for multiple searches.
