Refuerzo

Refuerzo is a Dutch interim and detachering company that brings people and knowledge together in the ruimtelijk domein. It trains professionals, guides their development and supports gemeenten and omgevingsdiensten with current expertise in vergunningverlening, toezicht en handhaving, known in the Netherlands as VTH, so that public organisations can count on knowledgeable people and teams that function. The name is Spanish for reinforcement and support, which is how the founders describe their approach to the work: substantive, careful and with an eye on the long term. The company grew out of the view that people come into their own when specialist knowledge is combined with targeted guidance and development, which produces stronger professionals as well as more stable organisations.

Refuerzo works only in the public spatial domain, and its own top vacancies show the pattern: a Toezichthouder Bouw at MBO+ level, a Vergunningverlener Omgevingswet at HBO+ level and a Planjurist Omgevingsrecht at HBO+ level, each 36 hours a week on a temporary basis in Zuid-Holland. Alongside detachering it offers a traineeship route, consultant work and placements for ZZP professionals. Co-founder Adem Güliner is a senior vergunningverlener with 15 years of experience, working on everything from small permits to large gebiedsontwikkelingen, and Yardiño Cathalina brings years of experience in omgevingsvergunningen and founded the bureau to help professionals grow.

Clients choose Refuerzo because a placement is not the end of the assignment: professionals start with the right knowledge and preparation and the company stays involved afterwards, which it says shortens induction, prevents delay and keeps knowledge inside teams when workload, staff shortages and new legislation press on public bodies.
