The Recruitment Company carries out management search in industrie, techniek en logistiek from Rotterdam and has done so since 1999. It offers talented managers a bridge to a future with prospects, seen from the point of view of professional development and of the business alike, and it uses the Erasmusbrug as its metaphor for the connection between now and later, from idea through development to realisation, and for linking people with their goals. The firm takes solution-driven maatwerk as its starting point. Jos van den Brule founded the company in 1999 and ManagingDirector.nl in 2015; after a bachelor in economics in Rotterdam and a master in company law in Leiden he spent ten years in advisory and commercial management at ABN Amro and Rabobank, and he has worked in management search in engineering, food and logistics since 1997. Marnix Hogenes has been a researcher and searcher since 2008 and a partner since 2012, and Christine Smaal has been office manager since 2001.

The firm organises its practice into five components: management, techniek en productie, logistiek en inkoop, sales en marketing, and finance en control. Positions it has handled include a Managing Director for a worldwide maritime supplier based in Rotterdam, a Business Unit Manager in Rotterdam for a European logistics and recycling group, an HR Directeur for a fast-growing logistics and recycling business in Oost-Brabant, an HR Manager in Dordrecht in inland shipping, a Manager Operations at management team level, and an HR Directeur covering strategy and operations for a construction and infrastructure business in Midden-Nederland. It also publishes an HRM Barometer that brings together indicators of economic activity.
