Recruiting Impulse

Recruiting-Impulse is a German consultancy that has specialised in nachhaltige Mitarbeitergewinnung, sustainable employee acquisition, since 2017. It is run by Stefan and Michaela Schulz, who clients describe as working personally and reliably with a real understanding of the challenges of day to day business life. Rather than searching for candidates on a client's behalf, the consultancy develops Stelleneinladungen, job invitations, and employer presentations that speak to exactly the people who fit the company and the work. Its starting point is that top candidates are not only looking for a job, they want an alternative, and its concept is summed up as einladen statt suchen, inviting instead of searching.

The consultancy works with owners and managing directors of Mittelstand businesses, and it says the concept has proved itself in sectors including Handwerk, Handel, Steuerberatung, Versicherung and Pflege. Its argument is that large corporations compete on salary and benefits while mid-sized employers win on individual conditions, flexible working hours and genuine appreciation, and its job is to make those strengths visible. Salary bands, benefits and development paths are stated directly in every invitation, which the consultancy says removes conversations about expectations and creates trust from the outset. All wording is AGG-konform and oriented to the EU pay transparency directive that takes effect across the EU on 7 June 2026, and its processes are DSGVO-konform.

A project runs for either three or six months. It begins with a free first conversation in which the consultancy assesses the situation objectively, then moves to an analysis of the client's competitors, a definition of its strengths as an employer and the development of its employer brand. The consultancy then writes all the texts and advertises the invitations on free portals, and follows with three or six months of support, optimisation and active candidate outreach. Clients choose it because the investment is one-off and plannable, with no advertising budget, no platform dependency and no headhunter commission, and because the client keeps the process afterwards.
