Rarekind

Rarekind is an Australian recruitment and human resources business. It recruits for engineering and industrial, executive, professional and technology roles, and also offers HR consulting and career transition and outplacement services. It says it has been in the game for over 35 years.

The company began in Newcastle, New South Wales, where the steel and coal industries shaped its early work, and later grew to the Central Coast, Greater Western Sydney and Brisbane. It has offices in Newcastle, Wyong, Penrith and Brisbane, and also works in the Hunter Valley. Its engineering and industrial team focuses on regional city engineering, supply chain and industrial employment, and it says an after hours team supports a contractor base of more than 900.

Rarekind reports more than 60 people working in specialist fields. Chris Cork and John Gallagher are its owner directors. In July 2022 it acquired Edge Personnel.
