QuickCare

QuickCare is an Australian childcare staffing platform that connects childcare centres with educators. It is operated by Carenow Technologies Pty Ltd and was started in 2022 by Chris and Mary Omeissah.

Centres can use it to fill shifts on demand, for example when an educator calls in sick, to manage their own pool of casual educators through the app, or to hire permanent educators such as an ECT or room leader. A recruitment team supports the permanent placements. Educators are matched on qualifications, experience and room needs, and the company says they are verified. Educators choose their shifts and are paid directly, without an agency taking a cut.

The company also provides compliance software that tracks WWCCs, qualifications and expiry dates, and fills in the National Childcare Worker Register template for centres. It reports more than 1,000 childcare centres and more than 10,000 verified educators on the platform, and says 98% of shifts are filled.
