Qualigence International

Qualigence International is an executive search and recruiting firm based in Livonia, Michigan, founded in 1999 by Steve Lowisz, who is its Founder and CEO. It works with clients nationwide, mostly remotely, with onsite work at points such as hiring kickoff and executive interviews.

Its retained executive search covers CEO, President, COO, CFO and CHRO roles as well as board and advisory appointments. It also offers talent research, sourcing pods, recruitment process outsourcing and competitive intelligence, and runs a staffing business, Qualigence Staffing. Clients can engage it on an hourly, subscription, project-based, retained or contingent basis. It also trains recruiters and advises talent acquisition teams on selection practice, using what it calls the GuideSelection approach.

Its industry practices cover banking and financial services, manufacturing and industrial, healthcare, private equity and professional services, life sciences, technology, health insurance, commercial construction and non-profit organisations. The firm says it has run thousands of searches since 1999 and describes itself as the selection arm of the Guide, Don't Drive group of companies.
