Public Sector People

Public Sector People (PSP) is an Australian recruitment agency that places permanent, temporary and contract staff in the public sector. Its clients are Local, State and Federal Governments, Not-For-Profit organisations and associated bodies. It is part of the Search4 group and says it has recruited for the public sector since 2004.

It recruits across five disciplines: Business Support, Construction and Engineering, IT and Communications, Planning and Environment, and Professional. It also offers search and selection and a payroll service. It says each consultant recruits for a single desk rather than as a generalist. Its work covers Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland, with offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

The company says its group employs over 100 people across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth. It reports more than 20,000 placements, over 300 government clients and 500 temporary workers. An operations team of over 15 supports the business in finance, human resources, learning and development and marketing.
