Professional Scientists

Professional Scientists is a recruitment company that has focused since 2010 on placing scientific staff from the MINT (STEM) field. It says it is Germany's first staffing provider aligned exclusively with this area. It works only on a success basis and looks for candidates from research, development and technology.

For employers, the company places specialists in permanent positions and also supplies project experts on a temporary basis. For candidates, it offers personal contacts and long-term career planning and support. Its head office is in Stuttgart, and Birte Michel is managing director.

The company also searches beyond Germany. In one example it looked for a project manager for a high-tech client in the USA, using its network of universities, research environments and expat communities.
