Premium Mechanical Group supplies mobile plant maintenance personnel and labour hire services to the mining, construction and transport industries. It began in 2006 as one heavy diesel mechanic and his ute. Its head office is in Belmont, Western Australia, with a second office in Brisbane, Queensland, and it says it is expanding from Western Australia.

Its services include ongoing and short-term rostered labour hire for mine site maintenance departments, field service, shutdown maintenance crews for major component rebuilds and repairs on heavy earthmoving equipment, and underground maintenance support crews. It also offers asset management services such as off-site repairs, vehicle mine spec'ing and equipment modifications.

Its staff include heavy-duty diesel mechanics, automotive and high voltage electricians, boilermakers, light vehicle mechanics, trade assistants and store personnel. The work covers Perth-based and fly-in fly-out roles, and the company also provides training and upskilling opportunities.
