PQE Partners

PQE Partners is a recruitment business for legal and corporate governance professionals, based in Sydney and offering recruitment services in Sydney and Melbourne. It was founded by Katie Mitchell, its Managing Director, to provide consulting and recruitment services to these professionals at every stage of their post-qualified experience.

Its work falls into three areas. In-house legal recruitment covers ASX200 companies, international multinational companies and large privately held businesses across all sectors. In private practice, it supports law firms across a broad range of practice areas. In corporate governance, it works with company secretaries and governance professionals at ASX listed and non-listed clients, as well as business service providers.

Mitchell has over a decade of Australian recruitment experience, previously at a global recruitment agency and a specialist Australian-owned recruitment and search firm. She recruits across Australia and has helped build legal teams at ASX100 businesses and at start-ups hiring their first in-house counsel. The industries it recruits in include banking and financial services, technology, energy and resources, and government.
