Port View Resources

Port View Resources is a staffing firm based in Richmond, Virginia, that places engineering and manufacturing talent with employers. It recruits mechanical, civil and chemical engineers on a permanent basis only and says it does not take on contract work.

Its manufacturing roles include CAD designers, mechanical, design, controls, automation and field service engineers, production supervisors and workers, production planners, CNC machinists, tool and die makers, quality inspectors, procurement staff and maintenance technicians. In chemical and petroleum manufacturing it fills roles such as process and manufacturing engineers, chemical engineers, chemical project engineers and production supervisors.

The firm works alongside a client's own recruiting and charges a flat fee based on the placed candidate's first year salary. It also offers payment arrangements to reduce client risk, and guarantees if a placement does not work out early. It vets candidates before presenting them and runs a background check on request.
