PNP Staffing Group

PNP Staffing Group, also known as Professionals for NonProfits, is a staffing and recruiting firm that works exclusively with nonprofit organisations and associations. It was founded in 1996 by Gayle Brandel. After she retired in 2022 it was acquired by Careers In Nonprofits, and it now operates as a division of that company.

The firm provides executive search, direct hire, interim professionals, consultants, temp-to-hire and contract or temporary staffing, either remotely or onsite. Its specialities include fundraising and development, executive and senior leadership, administrative and office support, finance and accounting, database support, programme management, marketing and communications, and human resources and operations.

Its headquarters are in New York City, with offices in Chicago, Washington, DC and San Francisco, and it says it has a national reach. It describes itself as a certified minority-owned business enterprise. It also publishes an annual nonprofit salary report, and the 2026 edition draws on responses from more than 750 nonprofit leaders and covers 44 roles.
