Platform Recruitment is a technical recruitment agency founded in 2010 out of a small office in North London. It places candidates from junior to management level for clients ranging from start-ups and SMEs to large multinationals, and its consultants each focus on one specialist skill set.

Its core markets include embedded and electronics, mechanical, software development, software test, DevOps, manufacturing, electrical, controls and instrumentation, and IC design and verification, with work in engineering, life sciences and data science roles. A Key Accounts team, created in 2015, handles roles outside those markets, such as project management, product management, sales, finance, HR and legal vacancies. Its directors manage permanent recruitment teams and also cover executive search and niche technical skills.

The company recruits in the UK, the US and Germany, with offices in London, Cambridge, Austin and Munich. The US and German offices opened in 2024 and Cambridge in 2025. Martin Lawes is CEO and founder. The company reports 440,000 registered candidates.
