Placing Faces is a specialist recruitment agency focused on the mortgage market, based in Sheffield. It fills roles from mortgage advisors and administrators to brokers, underwriters, case managers and trainee advisors. It says its recruiters hold CeMAP qualifications.
Since 2018 the company has also recruited in financial planning, placing mortgage brokers in trainee IFA roles as well as fully self-sufficient IFAs, and it says many of its clients are IFA companies. Since 2020 it has handled roles in bridging, development finance and commercial finance.
Placing Faces began in 2015 with two directors, working from a local library and recruiting for businesses across Sheffield. It says it sets no targets for its recruiters and does not require candidate registration. For clients it uses headhunting techniques. It reports winning Best Recruitment Brand (2022) and Best Candidate Attraction Through Social Media (2023 and 2025) at the Global Recruiter Awards.
