Pharma New Talent is a recruitment firm based in Barcelona that specialises in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and life sciences industries, and also works in digital health. Enric Miquel, a life science headhunter, founded the firm and has led it since June 2021. It works with both companies and professionals.
It recruits for roles in marketing and brand management, regulatory affairs and market access, medical affairs (including MSLs and KOLs), technical direction, R&D and innovation, and sales, key account management and business development. It says 60 per cent of the vacancies it handles are never published, and that it offers a nine-month guarantee and a shortlist within seven days.
Alongside recruitment, it runs Pharma Needs Science, a 12-week live programme for doctors and researchers moving from academia into industry, The CEOs Journey, which offers monthly mentoring with CEOs, and Feedback Lab, which uses AI for interview practice. It also publishes a salary survey covering life sciences in Spain and a podcast, Píldoras de Biotech.
