PPD Search

PPD Search, also written as Pettit Pharma & Device Search, is a specialist recruitment agency serving the pharmaceutical, medical device, health tech, digital health and wider healthcare sectors across Australia and New Zealand. Elizabeth Pettit founded it in 2006, after five years in the pharmaceutical industry and 14 in recruitment.

It works through three brands. PPD Search covers permanent recruitment, PPD People covers temporary and contract recruitment and payroll services, and PPD Executive Search covers C-suite, senior leadership and management appointments. In medical devices it fills commercial, clinical, RA/QA, operations and leadership roles. In pharmaceuticals it covers medical, regulatory, market access and commercial roles. Its healthcare work covers hospitals, private practice, clinics, allied health and aged care, and its digital health work covers areas such as health IT, wearables and telehealth.

The company says it operates nationally, with an office in North Sydney, and reports more than 90,000 industry professionals in its candidate database. It is a member of the RCSA and the MTAA.
