Personnel Resources

Personnel Resources is a staffing and employment agency headquartered in Dothan, Alabama, with a second office in Bloomington, Minnesota. It was started in April 1987 by Richard Guest and Becky Carter. Ben Harrison became an owner in 1993 and is now president. The company says it can serve clients anywhere nationwide.

Its industrial staffing covers warehousing, assembly, general labor, food production, welding, machine operation and maintenance roles. Administrative staffing covers office, clerical and medical positions such as receptionists, data entry clerks, accounting clerks, medical billing, CMAs and LPNs. Direct hire recruiting covers IT, engineering, professional sales, accounting, financial services, human resources, purchasing, logistics and manufacturing supervisors and managers. Services include temporary, temp-to-hire and direct hire placement, as well as on-site management, where the company provides a coordinator at the client's workplace.

Since Harrison became president, the company has opened Professional Employer Services. In 2007 it opened Preferred Risk Services, a commercial insurance agency.
