PeopleConnect is a recruitment firm based in San Francisco that works with startups and established companies. It was founded in 1999 by Max Shapiro, who is its founder and CEO, and it says it has more than 25 years of hiring experience. Jaidin McCann is its president.

The firm offers three services. Recruiting-as-a-Service covers sales, operations, marketing and engineering roles up to manager level. Executive search covers director-level hires and above. An embedded option provides a dedicated recruiter for clients scaling five or more roles at once. Its process begins with an intake call, job description alignment and a salary survey. It then uses direct headhunting of passive candidates and advertising across more than 150 job boards, followed by screening, offer negotiation and reference checks. It says it draws on a private network of over 100,000 candidates.

Its senior recruiters describe placements in emerging technology areas such as machine learning, robotics and blockchain, and in medical device, biotech and manufacturing companies, for roles from the C-suite to sales, marketing, engineering and finance.
