It was founded in 1997 by a banking executive.
From 1 January 2023 the firm has been in a strategic alliance with Angott Search Group, which is headquartered in Michigan. The firm says the alliance extends its geographic reach and deepens its expertise in banking and credit unions. The combined teams offer retained executive search, contingent search and interim staffing.
Park Avenue Group says it has placed over 2,000 professionals over its 29-year history.
