Owen Reed

Owen Reed is a boutique legal business support recruitment agency based in London. Anna Wallbank founded it in 2006. It places legal support staff with law firms in the UK, including Magic Circle, Silver Circle and international firms, across areas such as civil and corporate, litigation, intellectual property, technology and media.

The agency recruits Legal Secretaries, Executive Assistants and Personal Assistants, paralegals, team assistants and team leaders, document production specialists and proofreaders, remote legal support, and human resources, facilities, client services and reception staff. It fills temporary, contract and permanent roles. Its divisions are Legal Secretaries, Document Production, Proofreaders and Legal Business Support. For clients it uses what it calls a Source and Screen recruitment model.

Owen Reed also runs the Diversity Talent Platform, an online service where law firms and support staff can find each other directly. It is a member of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation and says it does not work on candidate ownership.
