Niche Recruitment is a Māori owned, search led recruitment and advisory firm that handles governance, executive and specialist appointments across Aotearoa New Zealand. It says it has over 30 years of experience placing people in organisations, and it acknowledges its origins in legal recruitment.

Its specialist search covers legal, finance, HR, policy, engagement, regulatory and compliance roles. On the executive side it supports boards appointing Chairs, Directors, Chief Executives and senior leaders. Its experience spans corporate, public sector, NGO, iwi and community organisations. It also fills contract and interim roles across executive, specialist and operational positions, including short term leadership cover. A separate Pakihi Māori service covers executive leadership, commercial governance and specialist roles in iwi Māori and kaupapa Māori organisations.

Niche has supported public sector agencies since 2012 as a provider on the All-of-Government Talent Acquisition Services panel, delivering permanent and contract recruitment. It has offices in Auckland and Wellington.
