Next Position

Next Position is a Swedish search firm with offices in Stockholm and Växjö. It helps companies find managers and specialists for roles where the match has to be exactly right, and presents its work as executive search and headhunting. Its services also include interim and consulting assignments, advertisement-based recruitment and personal assessment, the latter using methods it says are designed for Swedish conditions and the Swedish labour market.

The firm says it does not work in volume. Each assignment begins with an effort to understand the client's business, the role and the culture before approaching the market, which it says lets it reach people who are not actively looking for a job. It states that it never recruits from a client, that no information passes between parties without explicit consent, and that it is an authorised recruitment company following the ethical rules of ESK.

Next Position says it turned 15 in 2025. It started in Nacka and at the outset used the MRI Network search network for guidance. It received the Dagens Industri Gasell award in 2017 and 2018.
