Newspace Technical

Newspace Technical is a recruitment firm that specialises in the space sector. It recruits on a permanent, contract or executive search basis, with expertise in space infrastructure, satellite communications and geospatial roles. It also covers upstream work, from the design to the launch of satellites and spacecraft, and downstream areas such as satellite TV, GPS and weather insights. It says it works across the United States, United Kingdom and Europe.

The company says it was born from Rise Technical and describes itself as a sister company of that firm. It says it draws on nearly five decades of recruitment leadership in engineering, technology, energy and construction. Its founders and directors are Jeff Leng and Ben McCarthy, both co-founders of Rise Technical, and Jake Payne, who became Managing Director of Rise Technical before joining them.

It names a US headquarters in Miami, Florida, and a UK headquarters in Bristol. It says it is in the process of becoming a B-Corp certified business.
