New Technology Search is an executive search company that fills senior Data and AI positions in the Netherlands. Data and AI is not a sub-practice alongside other domains, the company says, but its only specialisation, covering the content of the role, the relevant candidates and the market dynamics. It was founded by Bart Greve, who has 25 years of experience in the Dutch technology market, first in consulting, then as an entrepreneur, and today as a headhunter. He started his first search business in customer data and business intelligence in 2008, then focused on CRMWaypoint, which under his leadership grew into the largest Salesforce implementation partner in the Netherlands and was acquired by Accenture in 2015.

The roles fall into five groups. Data covers Chief Data Officer, Head of Data and Data Platform, Principal Data Engineer, Data Strategy Director, Lead Data Engineer and Head of CRM and Customer Data Platform. AI covers Chief AI Officer, Head of AI or Applied AI, AI Architect, Lead ML Engineer and Senior AI Consultant. Governance and risk covers AI Risk Officer, Head of AI Governance, Data Protection Officer, Responsible AI Lead and AI Compliance Manager. Consulting covers Senior Manager, Manager, Director and Practice Lead positions in Data and AI, and the commercial group covers Sales Director, Business Development Manager, Head of Sales and Country Manager.

The focus is exclusively on the Netherlands for clients and candidates alike, drawing on a network built over 25 years. Three types of client are served: Dutch Data and AI consultancies of 20 to 200 people led by their founder, Data and AI practices inside broader consultancies led by partners and practice leads, and Dutch companies bringing data and AI into the strategic core of their organisation. Assignments can be permanent, senior interim, or fractional leadership of one to three days a week for companies that need the strategic weight of a Chief AI Officer without the scale for a full appointment. Clients choose between a single retained search and a continuing arrangement covering three to five senior positions a year, and the same partner runs the search, holds the conversations and stays involved through to the placement.
