NetOps Africa

NetOps Africa is a US-based IT delivery and employer-of-record business that places full-time South African engineers into managed service provider (MSP) teams across the United States. It has operations and a delivery team in South Africa. Its founder and chief executive, Shane Betrix, is based in Texas, and the company says it is led by experienced US MSP operators.

The roles it fills include helpdesk technicians, NOC engineers, cloud and infrastructure engineers, network engineers, security support staff and after-hours support engineers, at levels from L1 to L3. It sources and vets candidates, and the client interviews and chooses the engineer. Each engineer works full-time and exclusively for one MSP, inside that client's PSA, RMM, documentation and communication tools.

NetOps Africa handles recruitment, employment, payroll and compliance in South Africa, while the client manages priorities and daily work. It charges a flat monthly rate per engineer. It serves MSPs across the United States, including providers in California, Texas and Florida.
