Net Zero Evolution is a recruitment business focused on the decarbonisation of transport and energy. It recruits across EV charging, solar, battery storage and the wider cleantech market, and also places carbon and net zero consultants for consultancies and in-house teams. It says it fills permanent, contract and retained roles, including in wind, hydrogen, clean transport and fleet electrification. In EV charging it covers hardware, software and infrastructure talent, in solar project delivery, engineering and asset management, and in battery storage engineering, commercial and grid roles.

Each search starts with a job spec, a person spec and the pitch for the role, written with the client. The firm then maps the market, builds a longlist, interviews candidates itself and submits a shortlist. Its TalentPilot offer combines niche executive search support with 21 hiring tools for organisations making two or more hires a year. It also offers one-off hiring support and runs NetZero.Careers, a job board for the net zero economy. It says TalentPilot clients pay a fixed fee of 8 to 12% of salary on specialist searches.

The company works across the UK and Europe, the USA and Canada, and Asia Pacific, with offices in London, Leeds and Austin, Texas.
