Narrative Talent

Narrative Talent is a specialist PR and communications recruitment business working with agencies and in-house teams across Australia and New Zealand. It supports hiring leaders on searches ranging from a single critical hire to a longer-term talent pipeline, and works with PR and communications professionals considering a move. It names Auckland, Melbourne and Sydney as the places it works.

Amanda Vanderkolk founded the company in 2023 and keeps it founder-led, so clients and candidates work directly with her throughout. Her career began in PR and advertising before moving into PR, communications and digital recruitment across Asia Pacific, where she has led senior and executive searches, from director and practice leadership roles to Managing Director and CEO appointments.

The company also publishes Narrative Talent Intelligence, a series examining patterns in the ANZ PR agency talent market, informed by ongoing conversations with hiring leaders and talent.
