About the Agency
Mixed Staffing and Recruiting is a staffing and recruiting firm based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Sara Knoester launched it in 2012, and in 2014 it restructured into three divisions: Professional Staffing and Recruiting, Inclusive Workforce Staffing, and Diversity Staffing and Recruiting. It works with Michigan employers and says it is poised to buy its first building as part of expansion plans across Michigan.
Its healthcare division hires CNAs, RNAs, NPs and other healthcare professionals. A manufacturing and light industrial division says it has served partners since 2012, and the company also runs professional staffing.
The company offers DEI services and webinars, and an employee support portal covering help with housing, transportation, childcare, bills and legal matters. It reports 2025 retention rates of 89%.
