MEMCO

MEMCO is a payroll and staffing company that has supplied payroll services and workers to the commercial construction industry since 1996. It grew out of its parent company, Marek, which worked with staffing agencies through a fluctuating job market and refined that model over the following decade.

MEMCO provides skilled trades, general labour and professional personnel across construction, light industrial, manufacturing, hospitality and logistics, along with supervisory and office staff such as foremen, office administrators and receptionists. Clients can hire one worker or a full crew, on temporary, temp-to-hire or direct-hire terms.

As employer of record, MEMCO runs payroll, taxes and unemployment reporting for the staff it places and carries workers' compensation, general liability and umbrella insurance for them. It also handles drug screening, background checks, I-9 and E-Verify compliance, certified payroll, Davis-Bacon and C3 compliance, and OSHA certification. It has offices in Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, College Station, Harlingen, Pasadena and Spring in Texas, and in Atlanta and Denver, and says it serves clients nationwide.
