McROBERTS

McROBERTS is a recruitment marketing specialist for transport and logistics employers. Rather than sourcing individual candidates and charging a fee on placement, it builds and manages advertising campaigns around the client's own employer brand and vacancies, and screens applicants against requirements the client agrees. The client interviews and makes the hiring decision. Clients pay for an agreed campaign, with no placement fee each time someone is hired.

The company recruits HGV drivers, bus and coach drivers, other operational transport and logistics staff, and managers and specialists such as shift managers, transport planners and bus schedulers. It says it is not a retained executive search firm. It names Arriva, RATP and Wallenborn among its clients, reports having hired over 4,000 people to date, and has won a contract in the United States.

The company was founded by Joe McRoberts, who previously ran a digital marketing agency and is its managing director. It has also launched a jobs platform where candidates can apply directly.
