McArthur

McArthur is an Australian recruitment and HR consulting agency that began in 1969 as a family business in Adelaide. It is privately and Australian-owned, and its Executive Director is Matthew McArthur. It reports more than 210 recruitment professionals and more than 2,100 active clients.

The company runs eight specialist recruitment divisions: Aged Care, Commercial, Early Childhood Education, Engineering and Technical, Executive Search, Government, Nursing and Health Support, and Social Work, Psychology and Counselling. It fills temporary, permanent, contract and casual roles, from aged care assistants and nurses to educators, social workers and senior leaders. Its commercial division covers areas such as accounting and finance, administration and customer service.

Through its HR consulting division, Talent Architects, McArthur offers workforce planning, compliance reviews, employee relations support, and leadership and capability development. It has offices in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney, with Melbourne managing projects in Tasmania and Brisbane those in the Northern Territory. It also publishes a report on local government remuneration, now in its 24th edition.
