Mars Recruitment

Mars Recruitment is an independent recruitment consultancy that specialises in engineering, manufacturing and IT roles. It was founded in 2012 and is headquartered in Witney, West Oxfordshire. In 2022 it opened a second office in Cambridge, citing its record of supporting the University of Oxford and Cambridge, and their spin out tech start-ups.

The company works on permanent, temporary, contract and interim hiring. Its services include an exclusive permanent hire service with a dedicated consultant, a retained hire service aimed at mid to senior management and niche skill sets, and contract and interim hire covering PAYE, umbrella and limited company arrangements. Roles it says it has filled through retained hire include Global VP of Engineering, Head of Manufacturing and Head of IT.

It describes itself as a local technical recruitment agency for Oxfordshire and Cambridgeshire. Its clients range from university spin outs and tech start-ups to established SMEs and global corporations, and Oxford Instruments NanoAnalysis, the University of Oxford and Agilent Technologies appear among them.
