Mac Recruitment

Mac Recruitment is a recruitment agency based in Hamilton, in the Waikato. It provides permanent and temporary employment solutions in the manufacturing, logistics, industrial and commercial sectors. Its temporary work includes labour hire, and it says all temporary staff are health and safety inducted and drug tested before they begin their assignments.

For permanent roles, the agency says it makes sure it understands a business's objectives and culture before recruiting, then tailors its permanent recruitment package to the role and the size of the business. It works with both employers and job seekers.

The team is made up of Hamish McArthur, Laura McArthur and Brenda Sim. Hamish McArthur says he has worked for over 15 years as a general recruiter and branch manager, and was previously general manager of a large engineering company with divisions in Hamilton and Auckland. Brenda Sim reports 15+ years in recruitment and experience running her own business. Laura McArthur has a background in sales, startups, recruiting and marketing.
