M&T Resources

M&T Resources is an Australian recruitment and staffing business focused on business, digital and technology roles. It provides contract and permanent recruitment, executive search and resource augmentation, and works with private sector and government organisations as well as start-ups.

Its role areas include project and change management, business analysis, data analytics, digital and UX, automation and AI, application development and testing, cloud and infrastructure, and information security. Its industry focus includes banking, financial services and insurance, government, health, energy and education. In executive search it has placed Heads of Digital and Technology, Heads of Data and Chief Technology Officers. It reports placing an average of 1,552 contractors and filling 153 permanent roles a year.

The business traces its origins to SMS Management & Technology, founded in Melbourne in 1988, and SMS Contracting, which opened its first office in Melbourne in 1994. It became M&T Resources in 2001 after a merger with Savant Data and has been a wholly owned subsidiary of NRI since 2017. It has offices in Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney and Perth, with Perth added in 2025.
